... to test the depth of knowledge on this forum.

I need to apply some sound insulation on the inside of the cupboard door which houses our central heating boiler.

First port of call was fleabay but I never realized that there were so many types of sound insulation.

Can anybody suggest the best type to achieve my aims please?
