These things are far too loud and can cause permanent damage to the hearing of innocent bystanders. So it's a health and safety issue, isn't it?

Rumors are that there's something going on right now.
I can hear the sound of these vuvuzelas from time to time.

They must be really loud, as South Africa is a few thousand miles away.
