On Saturday 8 December I'll be around in the Wolverhampton area. So what about a mini meet at a good pub or restaurant? Let's just say at 6 pm. :)

Suggestions for a good venue are welcome!

As you know Jürgen i am up for this and look forward to it.

Maybe we should try somewere different from the Four Ashes for a change, how about an indian or Chinese restaurant, if thats not popular there are other pubs in the area who do meals on a Two for One basis such as the Chase Gate which is only a couple or so miles from the Ashes

Lets see who else can make it

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

Also looking forward to meet you, Rob. :)
I like the Indian cuisine, so that's a good idea.

I am in, especially if it is going to be Indian cuisine, the Repose sounds good, eaten there before. A place to stuff your face,
I can smell it already.
If at first you don't succeed, hide the evidence.

So as you can recommend this place, Steve, let's go for it. See you there.

I should be in, but the Kingsrepose you will have to book early, not the biggest place, very good food though, I take all my first dates there, go a couple of times a week lol, there is always the Gatehouse at Goodyear island, its a brand new place and is part of the Hungry Horse chain, very good and large meals,

Pft not bringing mine "Don't eat with your fingers". "Don't get it all down your shirt". "Behave" She has been saying this for nearly 30 years and she still thinks she can convert me.
