Not been bad here today. Compared to last Sunday. We have four water barrells down the side of the house. Having been out in the rain Sunday morning, when I went and looked at the barrells at half three in the afternoon I was expecting them to have filled quite well. They were still only a quarter full, and nothing was running in. So, unblocked the pipework and got some flow!
It kept raining until about half 7, and I went and checked again. 95% full! In just four hours! It had been raining that hard all day, including the three hours I'd spent working outside on the car.
What drought?

Actually, on reflection, I know exactly why it's been raining a lot. I collected a cabrio on the last day of May. It should stop raining again when I return it in October.
