My lil yard pond is STILL covered in ice! in spite of the recent temp rise it hasn't been able to melt the thick ice.. 
The ice was about 4 inches thick in the middle, and twice that round the front edge as its a raised pond and the front bit is a single brick wall with a liner over it..
The fish seem OK. I have seen them once or twice.
But now it looks like the cold weather is back as the lil bit I managed to clear has fresh ice over it again.. 
Fingers crossed that my pump will still work once the water gets free of ice again..
Ethero Country park lakes are still 95% ice covered..
