The Unite union has announced that there will be no strike over Easter - how does that make this Government look having caused panic at the pumps.

Pretty smart - the extra tax take over the last few days will temporarily reduce their borrowing and they will save a few quid in interest ;)

Then we'll notice a trend towards less fuel being consumed as a large portion of the population go into fuel saving, emergency journeys only mode.

Shame that someone has already suffered severe burns decanting petrol in the kitchen whilst the cooker was operational!
