Video editing by Raistlin

Hi all,

I have a few AVI files from which I'd like to edit out the commercial breaks.

I've looked at the likes of Adobe, Sony etc and they seem way too complicated for what I need. That is to say, a long steep learning curve to perform a hopefully simple task on a handful of files.

Can anybody recommend a simple video editor please?

Quicktime Pro 7 for Windoze. A simple matter of selecting the section of timeline you wish and deleting. Copy, cut and paste to and from the timeline.

Unfortunately Mick, it refuses to install on my PC saying there is a more modern version already installed :(

Back to the drawing board :(

Perhaps the commercial breaks aren't so bad after all.

I use "Get Iplayer Automator" for d'loading TV broadcasts from BBC, ITV and Channel 4. It does this without the ads.
