yeah apparently it is going off this year read it a while back on the other forum can't find a reference on traffic masters web site tho

I telephoned Trafficmaster this morning. I had to start with good old customer services. The answer was that the system we know as Alert is not a Trafficmaster product at all. Correction: see post 39. It was MG Rover's technology which simply receives Trafficmaster signals intended for TM's other products such as Freeway and Oracle. Trafficmaster claims no involvement at all (except, I imagine, granting permission to receive their data). It was said that a third party company is responsible for the signals. This would explain why there is no official announcement regarding our system which seems to be just an unfortunate consequence.
