There is something or other which intermittently hogs resources on my Windows 7 PC but by the time I get to have a look at the processes running it has gone.

Does anybody know of a third party program to track and log resource usage please?

I've been having a go with Process Explorer from Sysinternals, which is better than the built in Task Manager.

NB: Using it on Vista but not checked if it runs on W7 or not..
