I need to gain access to the round black panel, so I can get to the wiring on the fuel pump.

How do I get to it?

Thanks,

Dave

Pull the front of the seat base sharply upwards on both sides. Rather than remove the base altogether, which is a royal pain, especially refitting. Just prop the seat up as high as possible using a wooden or similar prop. This will allow access to the pump housing. Refitting the seat base is a matter of lowering it to the furthest extent and applying sharp forceful pressure to relocate it.

Thanks. I thought i was going to have to remove it (as you say a right pain). I'll give it a go, as looking to install FBH (Fuel burning heater.) and I was told the wire for the dosing pump was in there......

I've added a Know How by Ceedy link above which does advise removal of the seat base but I'm pretty sure it's not necessary.

The following has pic of the exact location of the panel, as you are just after the wiring I see no reason to remove the seat base completely.
