Torque settings for lower wishbone by PaulT

PaulT
With the house for sale have been packing things and think I may have packed the manual for the car.

Would someone tell me what the torque setting is for the nut for lower wishbone balljoint to the subframe and also the clamp bolt on the hub.

Thanks

Mr Haynes, he say:

lower arm subframe balljoint nut 75nm
lower arm lower balljoint nut 45nm
*lower arm bush housing to subframe bolts 150nm
* use new nuts/bolts

Many thanks - just hoping the balljoint splits easily.

The balljoint for the wishbone to the subframe was tight on mine. I undid the nut enough to protect the threads, and then hit it with a BIG hammer.

The ounetr end, on the hub, helps if you use a small cold chisel to open the gap slightly. A few people have struggled with the pinch bolt, but mine moved OK with a decent length breaker bar.

Thanks Duncan. Hopefully the new one will arrive tomorrow, so tomorrow evening it will either be a late dinner or a very late dinner.
