The prosecutor was running a commentary on a CCTV sequence showing an alleged theft:-

"Here you can clearly see Mr. XXX acting as a lookout while his co-defendant removes items from the rail."

Mr. XXX is, in fact, registered blind. Makes you think, doesn't it?

Same prosecutor, later in the morning, asked for an urgent comfort break at a reasonably convenient point between cases but, when granted, doesn't immediately make for the door of the court, instead tidying her documents. When I suggest that she may be cutting it fine she said:-

"Your Worship, I may be incompetent... but I am not yet incontinent."
