Throttle cable lost motion. by Bernard

Took the V6 out tonight after 10 days standing idle. I found that the throttle cable has considerable lost motion resulting in only partial active movement.
As I need it fairly early tomorrow and it's too dark and wet to investigate tonight, is there anyone around to give any suggestions as to what has happened?

Only check the cable adjuster for a kick off. Unless something has seized, that will take some further investigation.

Hi Bernard.
Did to get this solved i found that a good spray of carb cleaner in the cable adjuster and surronding areahelps also after a quick spray of WD40 and it frees it up i could be wrong though as it maybe something else.

Tried unsuccessfully to post this via tapatalk this morning. :(

It was only the cable end clip had popped out of its housing on the throttle body. Don't know why it happened but it was only a 10 second fix. :-D
Must remember to put a ty-rap round it to stop it happening again.
