Captain Beefheart, AKA Don Van Vliet sadly passed away yesterday.

Just one of my musical heroes, last saw him live at Knebworth in 1975. One of the best concerts I have ever had the pleasure of attending. Pink Floyd were headlining along with Roy Harper and Steve Miller Band.

A very sad loss.

Signals that you are getting old when your heroes when you were young start dying.

Shame I do not believe in the here after - can you imagine the great bands there are...

Jimi Hendrix, Keith Moon and John Entwistle trio.............
