Finally fitted the secondhand Synergy that I bought quite some time.
I did try fitting it just after getting it. Followed the instructions but the car decided to rev at 1,200 rpm - not ideal.
Yesterday connected it up and still the same. However, although the instruction said 'do not get the connections round the wrong way I tried it round the other way and success.
It also has the dash switch and I set that to II.
wow, what a difference - far, far smoother (obviously, the afm is not too healthy) and feels 'pokier'.
Will be interesting as to how it pulls a heavy trailer on a 740 mile journey.
