Popped into town this morning, and they have some of the hoard on show. No queues or anything.

We didn't even know it was there until last evening, but got straight in.

Anyway, the point is if you get the chance, go and have a look if it comes anywhere near you. I'm not one for looking round cases of ancient things dug up from who knows where, but the workmanship on these things is incredible. I don't understand how they did it before magnifying glasses were invented.

It amazes me just how much they found. T'was only a few miles up the road from here too

I hear some of its coming to Lichfield cathedral soon too so anyone in the area can come and take a look if they wish.

Yes, Lichfield, and Tamworth in the future. Only a few of the pieces, but worth seeing anyway IMO.
