Having been interviewed by BBC some time ago about the changes in education, I was disgusted to see what happened in London. I did not realise however who one of the prominent members was:

Although we were all angry at the news, and protests were held all over the country, the actions of few ruined it all for us. I have to agree with the following statement made at sentencing:
‘I have to take into account that you have had many advantages which are denied to most young men who come before this court.
‘I have no doubt you felt strongly about the legislation regarding student fees, but what you did went far, far beyond proper protest.’
