Any software engineers about?
I have a 2015 satnav disk for the Jaguar XE and XF. It is seen by my satnav DVD reader but stalls at "reading disk". I have the 2006 and 2011 disks for the S-Type and was wondering whether the up to date map data could be extracted from the 2015 disk and merged with the 2011 disk?
Both satnavs use a functionally identical DVD reader so the difference must be in firmware, I would think. Both disks are by NavTeq / Denso.
Any ideas / volunteers please?
