Sorry about the URL problem. I've fixed it to display properly (if you edit your post you'll see what I've done).

The problem was not you but us - we have a fancy system to interpret acronyms or abbreviations in posts and phpBB was picking up the 'MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor)' part of the URL and wrapping some extra HTML around it. Very annoying actually as it shouldn't do it but it's part of phpBB's core code structure where it detects various things like BBCODE and Smilies etc... :(

Sorry but i couldn't insert the direct link as there website always inserts some strange signs during copy/paste.

I've looked at these before, but they are not Bosch parts, clearly states they are Lowe Automobil

Any idea why the link has appeared like that??

I used the URL tab above and the address is http://www.maf-shop.com/index.php/cat/c ... er-MG.html

edit: hmm seems to have done it again even without using the URL tab

Yes - I am aware of the problem :(

It's to do with how phpBB parses messages for bbcode/smilies/swear words etc. I cannot do much about it without looking deeply into the core code of the forum. :( Look into it I will though but I can't promise any solutions until I've had a look.

For a work-around/hack please edit your above post to see what I've done to 'cheat' the system into displaying the URL properly. It's not clickable any more but at least it's both readable and correct.

Can see what you've done.

Unfortunately my PHP knowledge is quite limited.

The maf-shop one is a good price, but it says it's made by Löwe Automobil - I haven't heard anyone mention these before.

Anyway, I bought a Pierburg one from GSF (£55) a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully I can forget about MAFs for a bit.

Well, PHP alone isn't going to be the problem - it's those pesky POSIX regular expression pattern matches on unknown strings where you want to perform one function on the first iteration of a pattern match and then subsequent pattern matches get treated with a different function. Oh yes - I am become beard... :ugeek:
