Last evening just after finishing work, I spotted a chap approaching my front door.
I immediately assumed it was a salesman trying to peddle his wares, so I put on my "waddayawant " face as I opened the door to try and scare him off.
When I opened the door, he was looking over at my car and his opening words (in an English accent) were "thats a lovely car you have". I assumed this was an opening ploy in his sales tecnique and was determined not to fall for it - despite his admiration of my Black beauty .
As it turns out, he was originally lived a few miles from Longbridge although he has lived here in Ireland for over 10 years. He knew all about MGR and its history and we had a great chat about it.
I also bought what he was selling BTW .
