How do I open the bonnet, sans bonnet cable? It snapped the other day while I was doing some work. Can hear it flopping around when you pull the bonnet release lever? Getting in a bit of a flap because it's just under three months before the car will be used regularly, so I can't disconnect the battery because the bonnet's stuck shut.
