Hi Have a tourer with the roof rails and want to fit my top box for the annual holiday - anyone got any suggestions for a good make of roof bars?

Lidl do them from time to time for around £25 easier and quicker to use than the Thule ones ideal for people like me who only use a roofbox once a year.

Thanks guys - I'll keep an eye on lidl as I only intend to use them once or twice a year - I assume there a universal fit ?

Yes they just clamp onto the roof rail a bit more wind noise than the OEM Thule ones.

Thanks - wind noise will have to contend with the kids so no problem !!

You can also get Thule at good prices from ebay sometimes, but I guess there are fakes. I bought mine a few years ago, and when the seller saw where I lived, dropped them off rather than paying postage, so I was able to check them out. One thing to be aware, Thule at least do different lengths so the overhang isn't too long and therefore I believe illegal.
