Another overseas member joining. Or jumping ship. Whatever. But isn't the first time there has been drama on the other side, right?

I want do suggest this most respectfully, but it has been said that a lot of post's are being deleted from the Grey Ghost thread, do i dare say "on the other side but not THAT other side, i mean the other other side"?,

Mad curious when it was mentioned, or am i rocking the boat?

I have avoided making a comment in the "grey ghost" thread in the club forum other than to highlight the deletion of posts but my sense of fairness is rapidly bringing me to the stage where that might change.

In all the comments made on that thread, nobody seems to have raised the point that it is totally one-sided, those who could make comments with any authority to redress the balance having been banned, their IP addresses blocked and therefore unable to defend themselves.

In addition, any posts suggesting there might be valid reasons behind recent events have been summarily deleted.

Clearly, the comments made by the club management are at odds with what actually happened whether by design or accident.

Surely, I'm not the only one who thinks this is grossly unfair and smacks of censorship of the worst political kind?

Hi Paul I think that many of us could see the writing on the wall long ago after all why did loyal members like Mike Keith and Ken give up their positions in the club

Maybe someone should start a poll over there:

Are you:

Wiser now?

None the wiser?

maybe JDC should copy and paste the information he had with him today, replies from emails he received from Christopher,
I know my hubby really was not impressed, and he said it showed the club was very much us and them situation, and that cetain people on the other
forum did NOT have the members interests at heart, which is why this new forum was created,

A thread was created about National Meets, now seeming to be impossible, but strangely no-one has replied to the thread

Airing of dirty washing in public is not in anybodies interests. I for one would be very grateful if it were done by PM if at all.

Suffice to say we the Ex moderators were not at all happy with the status quo and had not been for some long time. We continued in the hope that our expectations might be met. It became very clear that this was not going to happen. Resulting in what you see here today. We know the difference between yes and no, right and wrong, and procrastination is not something you will see from us. We have also learned a helluva lot about how and how not to run a forum on behalf of and not in spite of the members.

The time for recriminations is long gone now, let's break out the virtual Champagne and toast to a bright and unfettered future.
