WIth thousands of members I am sure we will somehow fill the posts Rabett. Now all 4 moderators are no longer modding - Simon just resigned, sorry to see him go too - he has given to indicate he was not aware of today's actions and he and his colleagues were surprised at our actions today.

What they actually expected us to do and how they thought their position was in any way tenable is beyond me!!

Its getting silly on the other site now. Most people just want Christopher or Pete to explain whats gone on but Christopher really seems to be having trouble dealing with the situation. Deleting posts and leaving irate to other posters who just wanna know whats going on.

Hi all, I am a member of the other site, although I dont post much as I'n not knowledgeable enough. I log on every evening and the amount of info on there is astounding.
The mods and members are allways willing to help and I learn something each time.
I have joined this site as well - same user name - as I'm sure a lot more will. Good luck to all involved with this new site. I hope to continue with my belated motoring education.

First post = first question. Is there a subscription fee ? I would be more than happy to support the site as I am sure to learn more about my car here as well.

Absolutely no fees whatsoever. This site is completely free to access all areas - for everybody. We will be putting up a donation link very soon for anybody wishing to donate as of course running a site isn't free (hosting fees) but we are not going to pressurise anyone into paying. We want this website to remain free.

Everything is free, sure when the guys get chance to catch their breath they will reply but at the moment it is just mad on here :D
