When did you get you last email newsletter? Are you still waiting for your MG7 rear light clusters? Have you got your membership pack? Fancy a Window Sticker from the club shop? Wanting to read an update on the OVP restoration thread?

These are some of the reasons why there are problems in the club (look at the common link with all these) compared to Crofts door finishers: idea, who wants some, ordered, money paid and arrived on your door step in less than 2 months!

See what the members themselves are capeable of!

It has been added to my list. Things on MY LIST get attended to. We have a lot to do still just to get the forum to the state we had intended before going public but as you know it was hard to keep under control once it started rolling..

Over the next few days and weeks you will see all sorts of additions and innovations being brought forward. We hope you like them and it's great to have a free hand to do all the stuff we could not elsewhere.

Just to reiterate. This forum is not intended to be an opposition to the Owners club, it is as well as, not instead of. How things develop in the future is a matter for conjecture. We all have the best interests of the membership of the Owners Club at heart if not the club per sé. They / you are the important factors and always have been for us.

Trust you Derek, Giant size text and setting out your demands before you've even got through the door.
We have no plans for anything like a national meet but we will be attending local meets with our friends and colleagues. As well as organising some of our own which all will be welcome to, even you and the lovely LIllian. :)

Oh well, all very sad, but still, always happy to follow nice people, so here I am. This kind of reminds me of the split in the Jaguar Drivers Club, that became The Jaguar Enthusiasts club, and they aint doin bad!! :D :D :D ;) ;)

John and Mick,

With recent events, this was, I think, inevitable. Perhaps better to make the break sooner rather than later.

I think I made my opinions perfectly plain when we met recently and will not reiterate them here. Just suffice to say that my opinions haven't changed :)

John, thanks for the text. It was a bit of a shock to walk out of Court and see that.

I'll phone you later.

Well, I don't know all the ins and outs of whats happened. All I do know is that I owe a number of the posters on this site a huge debt of gratitude for helping me with various problems on my car. Its a shame there has been a split but that is life, hopefully both 'clubs' will flourish and in so doing help us keep the 75 and ZT flag flying

I knew nothing of the inner workings of the "Club" and only realised someting had happened today. Found the new site and registered and will now drop in on both. Shows yo uhow much attention I have been paying recently........ :bed:

It is only when all of the outstanding issues are mentioned in one of the posts above that I realise how much was "on hold". I in no way want to start deriding the "Club" though as I have and still derive loads of fun and information from it.

I did note however that you are not banned for life. In the Director's second post he said you are both welcome to register as owners and as long as you remain within the rules of the club will be able to post.

I don't suppose you would have the time now though?

We will of course be doing that don't worry,
and we hope that members will glean the information they require from all the sites available, without problems,
these things happen and although a presence as a member still may have been expected,
so many friends already over here we all feel at home already.
No one is being made to choose, the idea as said is running side by side with the aim of helping members and their cars as well as a nice friendly social side.

Thanks Guys.

Edit:
Why not just remove our positions then, and leave the membership standing?

Never mind John, why don't you just relax, grab a bag of popcorn and put a movie on, one starring, oh, I don't know, maybe Clint Eastwood ;) ;) ;)

Isn't it nice to see democracy in action! All posts that are not liked are being deleted! How is anyone supposed to get a balanced view without hearing both sides of the story!
