I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

 Hmm, maybe mine was a second generation sticker. It had the one with a white background, not the look through thingy.

Theres a product around that I've yet to see fail to help in these situations. It's called label remover and seems to diisolve any sticky tape kind of substance you care to name. It affects some kinds of plastics (some clear plastics, I think polystyrene) but otherwise is a brilliant product.

The really odd thing is that in spite of being around for years, not many people have ever used it. I first used it to remove gaffer tape (also known as gaucheron tape in some circles) from a development car that had been covered in the stuff to disguise it just prior to launch.

Yes, it was a 75. In fact the blue one used in many of the launch photos! Also had to remove a dirty great lump of wood from the suspension placed there for some unknown reason.

I reccomend getting hold of some of this stuff and using it to dissolve the glue. I will be using it on the early sticker from the club as the inkjet printer ink has faded to look like shite. Oh, that and the fact that I've moved on!

Any spray furniture polish will remove the leftovers, and it works

Mine is a paper printed job, then laminated and double sided sticky tape on the 'front' The printing has faded badly and now matches the car, which is a bad thing. I'd give the label remover stuff a go whatever type it is.

If I read it right, costs around half a k a year to run. So where's the other 9 and a half?

Certainly an option for those interested in finding out where the money has been spent and utilised. Took me an age to find them, Companies House has a rubbish search function.

Theres a product around that I've yet to see fail to help in these situations. It's called label remover and seems to diisolve any sticky tape kind of substance you care to name.

Believe it or not, WD40 is also good at removing this type of adhesive. It'll even remove chewing gum from the sole of a shoe!

If all else fails......read the instructions.

Just going back to an earlier part of this thread. Reference Accounts for Limited Companies.

There are quite a few expenses incurred by the owners club which may not be immediately apparent.
For example. Public liability insurance. Which can be had for as little as £110.00 per year covering 12 events, I believe theirs is much more expensive and covers only five events.
Minor costs such as the occasional car of the show prize.
Stock for the shop, although this is recouped with good profit over time. Outlay can be quite high.
Hosting costs which again could be had for reasonable cost. I also believe is quite high.
Initial purchase of software and some flags and banners.
Hire of a conference room at Gaydon for a team meet about 2 years ago.

However, at each event and from sale of subscriptions not only to customers but to all traders at reasonable charge, a healthy profit is made and is to be expected.

The higher the amount in the bank account of a Ltd. Company the healthier it appears to be. There is no obligation to provide anything in return other than a service for it's customers, which in this case is the internet forum.
