I think all the Crew just want to get on now with running this new Community for the benefit of its members,

Yes ,im afraid i may have instigated closure as i got the feeling toys needed to be put away & we can all move forward.Doesn,t matter what site we use,it,s all about information we can glean for our cars supplied by members who wish to supply such information to the benefit of all.Without the knowledge & kindness of everybody, not many of us would have a clue!Me especially.

It has to be said that one person in particular was getting very wound up by it all, as I said before, all a bit sad. I always thought the club was there for the good of all the members, not just certain ones!! :gmc:

But anyway, there you go, hopefully now it will all just pass and we can get on with life :D :D ;) ;)

I think a ban was a little over the top but hay.. what do I know?

All I'm saying is I with the fantastic 4 all the best with this forum. I really hope it works however I am having difficulty with the look and feel.. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I hope the other forum continues as there is a wealth of information on it. I do think they have shot themselves in the foot. With the 4 most posting members removed I see the value of the site will diminish over time. especially fi this one picks up.
next year will be the true test. The original club was a company at the end of the day and the hike from £3 to £10 was rather large when nothing extra was received in return.. I think that as this forum grows the value of the other will drop and the number of subscribved members will drop even further.. Why pay £10 when you can come here instead and get the value of the previous top posters plus a lot of fellow dual members.
Does this look familiar?

When i first joined it was ages before i heard the name Christopher and Pete or seen posts by them, still are rare, taking into consideration Pete present situation of course, i wondered, who are they?,i even thought..hhmm they've given themselves a high noting avatar, they slowly started to realise..emm they are the directors, i always thought JDC,Grey Ghost Simon, and Kandyman ran the show and look where they are now so although i was not aware of what was happening behind closed doors seems what has happened makes perfect sense.

Apologies for dragging this on. :em: Can't post over there now. :hissyfit:

If you are banned, does that not prevent you rejoining the forum using the same name and machine/IP address?
Therefore 'offenders are not 'free' to rejoin? As takestock mentioned, others have been demoted, without the need to
be removed completely, and having to rejoin.

Interesting point

What happens to members who have paid £10 and who are now banned? Unless they have contravened a contract, surely they are entitled to a proportion of their money back?

Also, wasn't the £10 supposed to be funding some "goodies" (or did I dream this?) Anyone get these goodies?

yes, all volunteers, just shows 4 of you have left, and it needs double that amount to do the same amount of work,
guess they suddenly realised how much work you all did, and needed double the people to do it now

I just hope they are shown the respect they deserve and some support when it is required and not be intimidated by the Management, but most of all Listened to.........

I do, as will the rest of the Crew wish them all the best in carrying out their new duties.
Does seem a lot of Moderators.
