Hi Paul,
I use Skydrive (bundled and free with my Hotmail e-mail account) with 25 GB of online storage. I use it for backing up some documents or sharing some pictures with my family via secure links (which do not give access to other documents).
With my Samsung Galaxy Phone, I have Dropbox with an allowance of 50 GB, but have not used it yet...

There are apps for that...
If you go to the website apps.live.com/skydrive, you will find the necessary apps according to your system (windows, apple, android...)
