Don't usually become aware of these things as I don't watch the news, but heard about this on local radio, as it was on when visiting a puppy this lunchtime 
Anyway, they said that there was going to be a practice flight over RAF Cranwell, about 5 miles from us, so I was ready with the camera (ish, I forgot). Grabbed the Smartphone and took a video of some helicopters, and then sat back down. Then a whole heap of planes came over, so grabbed the DSLR! The first few are pants as it was a short lens, but when I got the bigger zoom, the photos were better (not good, just better) and here they are below!
