On the subject of passwords, I have ticked the box, 'remember me etc' so I don't have to enter my password, but eveytime I log on, I have to enter my password :confused:

How do I save my p/w so I don't have to enter it evertime I log on?

:cheers:

Remember me sets a cookie on your browser to remember your username and password for this site. The only thing I can think of is your browser preferences may be set to delete cookies when you close it down or do not accept cookies. I only use Safari on Mac so I don't know where this preference is on your particular browser.

Ta Mick,

I use Windows XP Home edition with Internet Exporer 8, perhaps someone else with my software will be able to help out.

My password is SworDsaPs as it works very well with my dyslexia and is hard for a hacker to guess. :)

I don't mind if anyone else wants to use it.

Thanks Jürgen, my new one is SwaPRods. ;) It's a credit to you that you didn't try to get into my account....or you would have found I was fibbing. :gmc:

I do use a mix of small case, upper case and numbers...with a different password for everything. I have approx 12 different passwords currently in use....I hope I never bang my head.

I quite enjoyed being taken seriously. :)

Mike, check the privacy settings within the Internet Explorer and try this:

Tools => Internet Options => Privacy tab

IE8-IO-H.jpg
Choose any level from High to Low, but not Block All Cookies.

=> Sites
IE8-PSPA.jpg
Put in the URL of the Community Site

And then try again. HTH :)
