Oil Catch Tank Improving Fuel Economy by phenonix

Having fitted my Oil Catch Tank month's ago i've noticed my fuel economy has improved, not huge about a litre less per 100 km's if not more.
Must admit it is something i was not expecting having read so many threads before trying it, i do not recall one thread mentioning this, but i suppose with the excess oil removed they air intake must be cleaner.
Could anyone else who has added a catch tank verify this?

No change for me although the engine sounds better when accelerating and this isn't just because the Inlet manifold was replaced as well.
