yes zeb, couldnt have put it better myself, all very true. point in case, anybody fancy a picnic? week later, picnic organised, whos coming? done quickly and efficently down to everyone involved having motivation. this site has been a reprieve it that it has allowed everyone who has had a nagging problem with the other club to finaly leave and enjoy company else where. the point i was trying to make it that yes, you renewed your subscription, all be it through gritted teeth, but you had the choice not to. so even though you renewed, you knew that there was already a problem present and decided to continue anyway. you could have simply continued membership but just not re-subscribe. now this site has arrived, everyone who was in two minds has had their original thoughts confirmed, and allowed to continue socialising, seeking advice etc else where, without the need to subscribe anywhere.

whether or not i will subscribe next year is another question, but when i originally subscribed, i felt the need to support the club due to all the help i got off the members, not the mamagement. which i also believe is the reason most other people subscribe, you feel a need to as you would feel selfish for taking all the advice and not giving anything back. admitidly, i can now see from these events that actually, very little goes back into the members, which is why people feel the need to stop subcribing. but the other point i was trying to make is that if this whole thing had never happened, everyone would continue to do what they have always done, and not question it. now, we all have a reason to question it, and due to the lack of support and feedback from the management, feel it is a good enough reason to stop. i agree, the management could have handled everything much better, and should have been much more involved from the start, but as there is no way of rewriting the past, we have to deal with it.

the only problem i can now see is if everyone has the same attitude, both new and old, then eventhough members get very little now, very little will turn into nothing if the club has to stop running. i know this one is here, so at least there would be a different place to get all the info from, but the question i have already posed is what if?

Well Reece, little surprised at that comment mate, All I have done is decided i am available here at the same price as I was there, I just feel more comfortable here . Pretty much a personal decision I have made at the moment, nothing else.

Bit like going in 2 pubs, you have your favorite and if you go from one to the other, people find you if they want ;)

I still get pm's here from people next door asking questions, always answered

I am also available on .org

i wasnt trying to critisise you in any way, im sorry if youve taken it the wrong way but i was trying to say you should be extremly angry with how you were spoken to, but has no bearing on the rest of the club. i understand that by feeling this way about the management and how the club is run, this is a much more care free environment and is my personal chioce also. the way i understood it was that you wanted very little to do with the club, where actually i had hold of the wrong stick altogether, not just the wrong end.

obviously everyone has different healing times, and takes things on completly different levels and personally, i would have shrugged that one off very quickly. when primary school is one of the worst periods of your life, you learn not to take offence to quite so many things. hopefully, ive fully explained myself but you did ask for an opinion, and thats exactly what i gave. in heinsight, i should have put it differently, i seem to have a problem with comunicating information how i wanted to say it

A soporific combination of blind faith and cosy inertia will keep it going :) This forum will be forgotten about in due course. It's the way of things.

Whilst in no way a conspiracy theorist does anyone else find it hilarious that Christopher (EDIT - for accuracy : Mebad..he weren't online....well, his official id hasn't been activated since mid June anyway..:) ) and Pete should suddenly reappear tonight after my post this morning? God that has really cheered me up....posting stuff here gets more of a reaction from those two than PMs and threads over there.....My suggestion of one question from each member? well, we might as well post them here.....and then they can reply over there.... So.... a very good evening 'two guests'....
