I'm guessing You've all heard about the loony being hunted down by Police up here, well it's believed he may have carried out an armed robbery at a chip shop last night only about 5 miles from where I live & armed Police are now searching Rothbury (about 23 miles away) & it's surroundings after finding the car they believe he has been using, they've also arrested 2 potential accomplices who they are saying were also hostages so it seems the net is closing in, apparantly they are also investigating 7 other locations. It's very disconcerting having him running around toting a gun though he has said the public have nothing to fear, but obviously they have or he wouldn't have pulled a gun on the staff of the chip shop (assuming it was him)
