i have noticed that after the engine oil and filter have been changed the oil becomes dirty quickly i have used engine flush and still the same result so what is the best way of flushing the old out is it using diesel kerosene red diesel or paraffin i also noticed that the crank case breather is thick with old oil has anyone done this job

i have a diesel cooling fan and it has only high speed now i read somewhere that there was a person who can repair the circit board does any one know how to contact this person

Remove the engine cover three times 8mm or should be.

Lift out of the way and lay it safe.

Next remove the air duct two screws.

Three 8mm or 10mm on the slam panel.

Pull duct backwards.

Lift out and remove the air duct, put it with the engine cover.

Next undo the intercooler hose clip.

Diesel under bonnet pipes.jpg

The attached photograph illustrates where the aircon metal pipe is used to secure the lower power steering reservoir hose by means of a cable tie. This also helps to prevent the hose from coming into contact with the pulley.

My rover 75 2.5 V6 has been sitting a year or two and the front fog lights are permanently on, even with the keys out and the car locked. The wiring around the lights and ECU looks dry and the bonnet switch has just been replaced. Took the 75 for a high speed trip from London to West Wales, and it was fine for the fist half an hour, but when I stopped for Petrol after the Severn Bridge, it cranked over for a good few seconds before starting. Battery is new, so no problem with cranking speed. Could it be the fuel filter? no codes apart from the usual under seat front airbag sensors. It has been a few years ...

Once again the MOT is coming to it's date 24th April, so today i started to get the NUK ready.

Since the last MOT it has had a new rear subframe with upper and lower arms, drop links.

Front brake hoses, had it's usual autumn service beginning of September, oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, PCV filter, pollen filter, clean manifold & EGR also MAP sensor.

Four new tyres and four wheel alignment.

My car has a leak as shown in the attached photographs

The leak is coming from the power steering hoses.
Is the cure to replace the jubilee clips as the original ones don't seem to be ones that you can tighten up.
