My lambswool mitt was recently consigned to the bin due to it going bald, is a microfibre mitt equal to the lambswool?

Cheers

Does anyone have a tried and trusted method of cleaning the inside of the windscreen glass? I have used a number of off the shelf cleaners but have still not found one that does the job effectively.

Cheers

I had a visit from Andy a member know as Aurora MG who owns Executive Valeting http://www.exv-mobile.co.uk

I had him booked in on Friday to come and give my R75 LWB some TLC.
Andy is so thorough in his work that it’s a pleasure to watch him working and also to chat about anything Rover/MG/Austin releted.

I have used Andy a couple of times now and I’m very happy with the quality of the work ...

Back in 2009 when I purchased my car I used a drive through car wash. In certain light conditions I can see the residue of the 'liquid hot wax' that was applied.
Does anyone have any suggestions upon how to remove the residue? Normal washing does not work so should I be thinking of using a cutting compound?

Cheers

The old girl has done well so far this week and as she's coming up to clocking 1,000 this week already I thought I would give her a great as the weather was warm.

Just one moment of distraction and I've used a sponge not appropriate for the plastic cover of the headlamps. Now there are tiny scratches all over. :-?
Is there a way to get rid of them or at least cover them a bit? (Other than buying a new headlamp assembly of course ...)
