Afternoon everyone,

I've had a 2nd hand engine fitted in my works van and I was wondering if the insurance company should be informed about the engine change and what details they would require ?

I asked my company these question and I just got a " dunno " answer. So any advice ?

Cheers

If it's the same kind of engine then it shouldn't be relevant for the insurance.
(But maybe it's handled differently in Britain.)

Just give them a notice and you're done. They can keep it or throw it away, but they can't blame you later on.

Yes, as Paul says DVLA must be told and new Registration document issued.

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"
