We were in the garden this morning when we saw a beautiful dragonfly near our pond...not the biggest specimen granted but I never expected to see what appeared to be a single common or garden wasp attack and bring down the creature! By the time I had got my camera the dragon fly was done for.. :(

Desperado wasps? Do you think they had a bit too much to drink and ended up in a brawl? :confused:

Interesting......... however if you are a gardener you have an extremely efficient green fly erradicator in the wasp, they eats more greenfly than certain members here can eat pies..... :cheers:

not too far away from the dragonfly just goes to reinforce my theory that wasps are nature's Millwall supporters.... :D I see no wasps...just little cute ladybirds....dining decorously on aphids...
