My car won't pass inspection by Herr Hauptmann of the concours Gestapo. ;)

It's a working meet, not a concours show Bernard :)

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

Ha Ha! Sorry to hear that Herr Flick the Gestapo.  :whump:
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

Quite simply the best meet i have been to, thanks to all those who came on day 1, day 2 and/ or both, nice to meet new members who are not regular meet goers and all the usual suspects too, the days definitely had a family atmosphere about them.

A special thanks to all those who bought tools and mucked in with the required jobs, most of which I believe got done, and if not there is always next time and there will be another.

I now need to unpack the car, take a shower, eat some food and go to sleep !

One day of Summer we've had this year... and this was it :D

09:45, I started work on a car. Can up for air 20 minutes later and there were cars as far as you could see with boots and bonnets and doors open (or in some cases, detached ;) ) and people were just getting stuck in. It was amazing to see and made me feel proud to be a member of this community of 75 and ZT owners :)

It never ceases to amaze me that such a complex process involving the combination of experience, tools, skill, knowledge, encouragement, motivation, friendliness and ultimately satisfaction from a job well done, springs from absolutely no formal organization at all. It just happens, thanks to the good will and enthusiasm of the people taking part.

You have to experience it to understand.

I'd like to thank everybody who turned up, either both days or today, for making this meeting what it undoubtedly was, the best I have ever attended :D

Thanks to Lyndon and Mick for organizing the venue so that everything ran smoothly and seamlessly.

Thanks to Duncan for the work he did on VeeKay today. She's perfect again :D

One apology, to Colin, for forgetting who he was... again. Sorry mate :(

Shall we do it again?

Very enjoyable weekend. Thanks to the organises, who sorted out an excellent venue.

Great to meet up with people. Girls enjoyed the play park and made some friends.

An extra special thanks to Col, who did a stunning job of painting up bits for my interior.
Well chuffed with how it looks. ;)

Thanks also to Paul, who sorted out the wiring for my powerfolds . . . again, and Duncan who helped me put it right after connecting them up of phase. :em:

And generally thanks to everyone else for helping out with jobs as needed.

When's the next one?

Another busy day, but fantastically enjoyable.

Good to meet people, sorry I missed a few. Well done to the organisers, but also to everyone who got stuck in and made it what it was.

See you all at the next one!

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"
