Rob, just to correct my provisional jobs. I already have footwell lights so just need the puddle lights. Not sure yet where I am going to fit the Homemade Lasagna either :)

People call me average, but I think that's mean!

Unfortunately I cannot make this meet, my ears are still burning from SWMBO's language after the last Cheshire meet. Seems I left her in the car for 3 hours whilst I socialised with members and their cars at the meet. How ungrateful I bought her lunch.

One positive outcome is that I will attend future meets on my own, ears can only take so much abuse.

Hope you all have a good one.

Cheers

an appeal to anyone who is camping at the nano, if you have any burnable wood and room in your car please bring some to keep the fire going and keep us all warm

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

If I've got room and that is doubtful at this stage, I have some offcuts of railway sleepers that I can try to squeeze in.

Just hope that Janina doesn't mind sitting on them on the way over. ;)

They may need cutting up a bit though will probably split easily. Anyone got a chopper..... I mean axe?
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

Small change of plan for me too. Just a delayed arrival tomorrow, so it might be afternoon time by the time I get there so might only be opportunity for T4 (Testbook version 4.Computer Diagnostic System) session.

A slight delay for us as well, we had been hoping to pop in to see people before checking into the hotel, but as we havent left here yet, I think we,ll just be meeting in time for the meal, unless traffic is kind to us, and we may get to pop in for half an hour

Another good meet, in spite of the weather.

Didn't get anywhere near as much done as if the weather had been good.

Some people had travelled a long way, and I hope they enjoyed themselves enough to make it worthwhile. Some new faces as well as old.

My personal thanks to Dave (Stocktake) for the balance VIS (Variable Intake System) motor, which had recentl given up in spite of a repair some years ago. Robin is back to his old self again. Need to fit that nice full chrome Grille from Gren, next!

Looking forward to the new year, and the next, when Paul is back in charge of the weather, instead of Rob.

(Sorry Rob, didn't mean it).

First of all a massive thanks to all who turned up in spite of appalling weather, we had over 20 cars at todays nano.

As Duncan has said only a few jobs got done so apologies to anyone who didnt get the planned work done on their cars, but i still think the weelend was a great success with the saturday evening meal, camping, log fire outside until the early hours and today all being huddled beneath gazebos drinking tea and coffee and dodging the rain.

I have passed your condolences onto Paul and thank you all for putting in the collection which was taken round by Gren, in total there was £42.82 and I understand this will be donated to charity rather than buying flowers.

For once i forgot my camera but Dave and Marina took some pics and will hopefully post them up later.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to making this a great weekend, here to the next one
