Can anyone recommend a silicone type sealant to repair a butyl pond liner? must be 100% waterproof as permanently under water, and before anyone suggests a stick on patch, the 2 leaks are on the crease of the folds in the liner. I need something to squirt into the holes and then to coat the outside? Cheers Dave

Don't use a silicone sealant, they don't stick to the butyl. Well they do for a short time but it comes of fairly quickly. Or at least it has when I tried.

You can get pond sealant in a cartridge gun:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gold-Label-Po ... 53ff0c0e51

for example

Thanks Duncan, I will get some. For some reason I always think of Silicone for a waterproof seal. Dave

Yes, so did I. Especially for the waterfall bit, but it only lasted months.
