OK - it was Spaceballs. Possibly not the most intellectually challenging movie of the last century but, in my view, Mel Brookes at his best

Only know that as the lyrics to a song, but cannot think what film it is in. :(

EDIT: Just googled as I was stuffed and couldn't find it there either, most strange

Eraserhead.
Eraserhead is a 1977 American surrealist film and the first feature film of David Lynch, who wrote, produced and directed.

Watched it one quiet evening way back - totally spooked me out. It definitely lodged in my memory, particularly this song, sung as it was by the tiny lady with puffball cheeks who was hidden on a stage behind the radiator. The scene where Mary feeds her 'baby' was reported by the Boston Herald as probably the most disturbing scene in cinema history. (i thought it was the individual roast chickens that croaked as you stuck your fork in).
