Latest project is now functioning sufficiently well to be worthwhile

Door mirror dips to show you the kerb when you select reverse. Switchable to select whether it does so or not and also to select which side dips

I need to work on the aesthetics of where the switches go and/or whether there is a single switch that can perform both selection functions

Well done Paul, your projects get better and better. Not too sure where you could put the switches though. Maybe something around the sunroof switch if there is nothing fitted?

I know I'm public enemy number one to some people over there because of my views regarding, inter alia, xenophobia. I haven't seen anybody saying my mod designs don't / won't work though.

No, it wasn't aimed at you (for a change )

It was towards the whole concept after the OP raised the query in the first instance.

He got several responses of the 'I wouldn't have that on my car" type.

Will have a look for the earlier thread later and PM you, off out now.

To be frank, I'm really not concerned about what others, apart from those whose opinions I trust and actively seek including yourself, think will work or will not work People are free to try or not as they see fit.
