Hi all,

Does anybody know if it is possible to connect the HDMI output of a graphics card to a monitor with DVI input please?

That depends on the cable you're intending to use. Which depends on the space available at both ends of the intended connection. If there's enough room at either end you could toss a coin.

I do have a spare one from Apple. It could be yours for a tenner (free delivery at PoL ;)). This one requires a DVI cable.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

That looks pretty neat and tidy Jürgen. I might go for that. Just depends upon whether I can get the exact monitor I want now.

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

Change of plans now. I was let down on the monitor I wanted so I've bought one which has HDMI native.

Thanks anyway, both :)
