Was looking for a Smart Blu Ray player and came across one that seemed environmentally friendly. Stated consumption was 11W when on and about 0.5W on standby so looks very good. However, it takes a 12v supply so a power adaptor is supplied. On that, computing the volts and amps show that it consumes about 200W so, overall not exactly environmentally friendly (nor economically friendly).
