Thanks for the kind offer.
We have had a new and unpleasant development, basically I have found lots of bodged wiring behind the Dash, not sure what they had there, or attempted doing. Anyway, long story short whilst trying to repair an electrical issue I was greeted with a burning smell!
After pulling the Fuse, the smoldering stopped and I kind of came to the decision to concentrate on getting F No. 2 sorted out and leave F No. 1 to be done over time. It is still driveable but won't pass its next MOT, so I am not going to try yet. Getting F No. 2, which is a totally bog standard Model will probably be easier, provided the Engine runs ok, won't know that until I get the Spare Key / Lock set fitted and a replacement immobiliser T4 (Testbook version 4.Computer Diagnostic System)'d to the Car.
