This thread can be used for any bar talk about life in general, sober and drunks welcome

We have only just opened and it is self service at the bar if you are first in on any given day or night, if anyone joins you invite them with a nice drink of beer wine or whisky, coffee or tea and have a good chin wag.

Post suggestions for music, offer advice, ask for advice, tell some jokes have a laugh etc.

Even put the world to rights but please no abuse or foul language, if you find yourself a bit tipsy please leave quietly with no fuss and return the next day fresh enjoy .

From 6 o'clock this evening I will enjoy a pint of Abbot Ale, might make up for not being able to attend the Nano-meet.

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

Dave do you not like all beans or just baked ones, green beans are nice but not for breakfast, red kidney beans in a stew, butter beans in a stir-fry, black eye beans in soup, lots of different beans, but can give you wind

Hi guys nice to see you in the bar even if you are going tea total

Weather great here again today in the sunny midlands (Wolves) a few jobs getting sorted out in the garden, and maybe wash the cars or not.

Are we all having a Sunday roast today or something else No beans for Dave

Yes I do like all beans, with baked beans on a breakfast the fried bread gets soggy, prefer it slightly crispy.

Have they changed the recipe? I tried it a few years ago and thought it was nowhere near the original.

Konjack noodles. Like spaghetti but zero calories and zero carbs. Only a thing if carbs are something to avoid. There's a rice version too.

Well this afternoon has been an experimenting afternoon. Baked some low carb bread (you can't buy it in the shops anymore)n which turned out OK, though I'd have liked a better rise. Keto Ice Cream in the freezer but still a bit runny. Will be with the first English strawberries of the season when it sets.
