appallently we're getting a ticking off from wipikedia. I thought the (anon) mellow room suggestion might be helpful.. perhaps it was the bit about the cat.
:) hic
woops... it'll soak in..I'll pour the next one a bit more to one of my lefts.. :)

.From Kwakipedia.. :)

Pauwel Kwak (Dutch pronunciation: [paʊʌl kwɑk] or simply Kwak, is an amber, 8,4% abv Belgian beer blah blah blah in bottles and kegs.[1]
[edit] Glass

As with other Belgian beers, Kwak has a branded glass with its own distinctive shape. It tastes best in the Mellow Room with your feet up on the cat. The Kwak glass has attracted attention because it is a round-bottomed, hour-glass shaped glass that resembles a stirrup cup[2] or 'yard of ale', which is held upright in a wooden stand—rather like a piece of old scientific apparatus. The brewery claims blah blah blah in the 1980s.[4]

Well, I am feeling nice and mellow - amazing what a walk along the sea front followed by three pints of Bass in the local hotel can do.

Best of luck for the New Year, expecially for those in danger of loosing their jobs or trying to find one.
Paul

That apart Mrs Lincoln, did you enjoy the play

Just putting the champagne on ice,

See you all later.

Quiet night in here too... probably very quiet, the old eyelids are struggling already. :)
I'm hoping the pop of that Nebuchadnezzar will bring me round. Give us a nudge if I start snoring...

Time to revisit the mellow department for the afternoon :)

Having worked a night shift and then had a productive day cleaning the car I'm now relaxing with a nice alcholfrolic drink. Technically it'll be my equivalent of elevenses but I'm going by the actual clock rather than working back from when I woke up ;) :-?

Evenin' all.

After a particularly busy day, I think that I might give myself a real treat.

A decent Bordeaux perhaps.

Here's one, a St Emilion Premier Cru that I've been carefully nurturing for a few years. I do like a nice Claret. :-D

Draw the cork and pour a glass from a height to get some air into it.

Swirl it round the glass a bit to warm it a little and find my mouth watering at the prospect of enjoying a superb wine.

Admire the colour and take a swig...........AAAARGH, UUURGH..... spit it into the sink, it's corked and quite disgusting.

That's fouled up my visit to the Mellow thread.

When will the French finally admit that screwtops are more reliable? :hissyfit:
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.
