I had a mellow day in the garden earlier until the mellowness was interrupted by me breaking the hedge trimmer (oops! :em:). Might take it apart and see if it's repairable but that's for tomorrow - hopefully another mellow day :)

Back to this evenings mellowness for now though :)

Well pretty mellow now having visited the Macallan this evening.

Thought it was going well in the garden, but a neighbour objected to my painting my side of their fence. Now I know it's their's but as I was paying my own money, and my own effort to increase the life of their fence, I was kind of surprised. I certainly had no problem with my neighbours the other side doing the same to my fence. However seems the law is on their side and I shouldn't touch it without permission. I never cease to be amazed by some things in this country.

Hence now being extremely 'mellow' this evening. Shall go back to my own fence tomorrow, and with luck get on to some less tedious tasks too.

Everything well underway this evening then?

Having just spoken to Colin I suspect that he's aware that I haven't been idle this evening with the Abbot ale :)

I've got a whole weekend's worth of Police remand cases tomorrow (supposedly a bank holiday) and from what I've heard, the Court cells will not be able to cope with them all in one go :(

Oh well, time for another bottle :)

That'll be a nice match to my 'Raisin' beer (No, go back and read that again), that's slipping down after a nice day almost finishing my generator project (the new silencer is the wrong size). Please all, feel free to help yourself to the contents of the fridge, so long as you leave me something for the end of the evening.

Plenty of sunshine today, what a wonderful day. :)
No one within a few hundred yards, just a quiet place to relax.
That's all I need to forget about the frantic business world for now.

What a mellow evening. I've had one of the finest latte macchiato's earlier on and now I'm doing nothing. :)

I need to be in here tonight.
Had a day you wouldn't believe, with all sorts of serious repercussions about to hit the fan.

But at least it's been sunny most of the day.

Doesn't sound good. Pull up a chair and grab something from the fridge. That Takestcok blokes not around so we're a bit overstocked anyway (sorry Dave, didn't mean it).

I'm mellowing out having spent around 5 days trying to get three software packages to actually install and work together on the same PC. First one took most of that time, second one went quite smoothly. So I thought the third would go OK. Nope, even the first package failed to install. Gave up, came home, found some beer.

Oh, and being told the fault on my OH's car being that 'the computer says it lost sixth gear'. Reminds me of that post a couple of weeks ago. Response from Technician: sixth gear found inside gearbox after a short search.

Trouble with this putting right stuff is it's so tiring. I'm beginning to think we should let the world carry on being wrong, as the computers obviously know better these days.

Just popping in for a quick 1/2 hour mellow time, think I'm going to need it as I start work at 7am and then looking to work 20 hours straight, as we have 220 pc's to decom and recom and 100 servers to de-rack and then re-rack and 10 of these can't be shutdown until after 10pm when they have completed there back ups and then once relocated to the new building we have to get them racked and powered up to be back online for 3am...... Happy Days
