And breathe... and relax...

I'm so pleased this thread is here :)

I'm now in P.A.R. (Post Arab Recovery)

Lecturing members of the Royal Saudi Air Force in aerodynamics is a task not for the faint-hearted and it is nice to see the weekend ahead. :)

Wonderful bunch of characters but such unremitting hard work.

One of my colleagues made a comment earlier in the week along the lines of "Well it's not rocket science you know". He then reflected and had to concede that, in fact, it was. At least, partly :D

Mellow?

T in the park on the box.

Glass of the rouge to hand.

Bunch of nice guys (and gals) to chill with.

Would only be better if it was for more than just a couple of days!

I've never really understood this comparison generally.
Rocket science is relatively crude and simple. Who is the saying attributed to?
Probably a politician, that would explain it.
;)
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

Now, what does 'a brew' mean where you are?

Back home where I was dragged up, you would have a pint of brew, that is brew XI.

Move up 'norf' and they have brew time in the factories, but drink tea, not beer.

It did make for an interesting conversation some years ago, when we had visitors from Blackburn who asked for a brew at ten in the morning.
