Remove the engine cover three times 8mm or should be.

Image3

Lift out of the way and lay it safe.
Image4

Image5

Next remove the air duct two screws.
Image6

Image8

Three 8mm or 10mm on the slam panel.
Image9

Pull duct backwards.
Image10

Lift out and remove the air duct, put it with the engine cover.
Image11

Next undo the intercooler hose clip.
Image12

Pull the hose from the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve) and set aside.

Now undo the jubilee as far as you can or completely if you have to.
Image13

Rest it out of the way as below, note this is a special clip[ so do not lose.
Image14

not to much left now, slide out the grommet for the fuel rail wiring.
Image15

Image16

Pull off the little hose to the EGR.
Image17

Pop out the two small hoses the left side of the manifold where the MAP sensor is.
Image18

Image19

You now need to disconnect the MAP sensor plug, do this by using a flat blade screwdriver long enough to touch the plug, press in the spring, and push downward on the plug.

Image20

Image21

All that is left now is to undo the top row of captive bolts 10mm so don't worry none will drop out.

Image22

Image23

Now the bottom ones which are 11mm on the left is a long bolt.
Image24

Image25

The other four are nuts again 11mm do not lose these.

Three in the middle section.
Image26

hook these out safely.
Image27

Image28

The one on the right end undo then remove with fingers the last few threads.
Image29

Lift the manifold up from the engine.
Image30

Image31

Image32

You can wipe round the round ports and square ports with a clean rag, but do not poke any gink into the ports.

Now you need to do everything in reverse when fitting the manifold back.

Little tip when offering the manifold back to the engine, and lowering it onto the threads plug in the MAP sensor before lowering completely it easy than trying to do it later ;)

Good luck Arctic
